INTRODUCING AMERICORPS ST. LOUIS
Our
mission is to improve the learning environment, academic achievement and
safety of inner city public school students; and to respond to school and
community emergencies through the leadership capabilities and services of
skilled, caring AmeriCorps Members. We envision that within the next three years 130 of our
Members will be serving in 20 at-risk schools; that we'll have a full staff;
an adequately renovated building; and that we'll be recognized as essential, vital contributors to
the community.
